Infolinx System Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise physical records management software, recently completed the installation of Infolinx WEB Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), a departmental software solution, for the District of Columbia Department of Human Resources (DCHR). This department provides human resource management services that strengthen individual and organizational performance and enables the District government to attract, develop and retain a well-qualified, diverse workforce. Maintaining approximately 35,000 active employee records, DCHR upgraded their antiquated system to Infolinx COTS and is now managing the entire life cycle of their physical records from creation through final disposition.
Available in the cloud or as an on-premises solution, Infolinx WEB COTS boasts an impressive feature set including a contemporary, browser-based interface, fully integrated barcode and RFID tracking, robust searching, online pickup and delivery request, retention and legal hold capability, extensive reporting, email-based workflow notifications, and flexible security configuration.
To enhance the benefits of the record management software, DCHR also selected the Infolinx Professional Services Team to convert their files from top to side tab and add a colored barcode label. The color-coded label allows for easy visual tracking on their storage system eliminating misfiled folders. Time spent searching, retrieving and refilling employee folders has been reduced, resulting in a more efficient and productive department. The new label included a barcode facilitating easy checking in and out in the Infolinx WEB COTS software.
